The FlexFold BT300 is a versatile blanket folder for processing all kinds of thin and thick blankets until a size of 300x300cm
Feeding and folding combined in one machine. This sophisticated blanket folder can be operated by one or two operators. Fast and accurate relying on servo technology. Thin as well as thick blankets can be processed.
Servo motors
The FlexFold distinguishes itself from competing machines by the applied servo motors on the spreader clamps as well as the intake bar. Applying servo technology ensures accurate and fast operation.
Foldings
The FlexFold BT300 has 2 lateral folds and 2 cross folds (3rd cross fold is optional). The lateral folds are made by air pulse. Double air tubes are applied in each fold. The pressure of the 2nd lateral fold is selectable between low and high pressure. The cross folds are made by knife in combination with reversing belts. After the folding process, the blankets are stacked on the final incline belt by means of a dropstacker. Once reached the required height, the belt is activated.
Operation
1. By one operator in the centre of the machine and feeding the corners of the blanket in the spreader clamps.
2. By two operators, one on each side; the spreader clamps alternate between operators while they prepare the next piece.
3. Manual feeding by one or two operators. The spreader clamps retract backwards with the clamps on the widest position.
